Synopsis

In a faraway fairy-tale land, Cherry lives in an unconsummated marriage with her neglectful husband, Jerome. After giving his wife 100 days to conceive an heir on pain of death, Jerome mysteriously vanishes, and the charismatic Manfred appears in his place, complicating Cherry’s predicament.

Editorial

Giving the damsel-in-distress fairy tale an irreverently queer makeover, this swooningly erotic costume fantasy slips down as easily as an unlaced bodice. Featuring a king’s ransom of star performers—inlcuding Emma Corin and Charli XCX—this is as bewitchingly romantic as it is playfully postmodern.
