Synopsis
On the mean streets of Rome, a pimp leads a hand-to-mouth existence on the very margins of society—soliciting women, scrounging around, and exploiting others. When his prize sex worker Maddalena is arrested and jailed, Accattone’s fortunes dwindle, and he is forced to confront his existence.
