Editorial
Adapted from a Selma Lagerlöf story by revolutionary Turkish poet Nâzım Hikmet, this landmark village drama confronts power, desire, and public shame with striking clarity. Cahide Sonku dazzles in a film that unsettles the terms of justice and belonging—presented here in its restored version.
