Synopsis

Situated at the westerly tip of the Cornish peninsula, Cape Cornwall thrusts its jagged headland into the squally Atlantic and toward the North American continent. News reports from the US speak of a changing Atlantic climate, as storms crash against the jutting cliffs of the Celtic southwest.

Editorial

Calibrating his barometer to the building pressures of the natural world, this environmental short by analogue revivalist Mark Jenkin is shaped by the volatile seas of the Cornish peninsula. A tempest of sound and image, this roiling ecological warning harnesses the expressive might of montage.
