Synopsis
In a dystopian city stands a building inhabited by strange characters. On the ground floor, a butcher with limited meat supply sees his stock increase when some tenants begin to disappear. A young former clown lands a job there, oblivious that he might be the butcher’s next victim.

Before The City of Lost Children, film duo Jean-Pierre Jeunet and Marc Caro made their ingenious debut with idiosyncratic stylization that only cartoonists could conjure up. Set in a truly surreal vision of Paris, Delicatessen is a comic cult classic about the banality of post-apocalyptic existence.
