Synopsis

A volcanic eruption strands Bethany and her soon-to-be fiancé, Rob in Warsaw, Poland. Taking the explosive event as a sign, she reunites with her childhood friend, Nel, and embarks on a European adventure that forces her to confront the pains and pleasures of growing up.

Editorial

Explosive, lava-hot desire—and a literal volcanic eruption—threaten staid bourgeois routines in this stylish force-of-nature romance. Revealing the dramatic talents of zeitgeist-catching singer Charli XCX (who stars), Erupcja burns with all the yearning of an endless summer’s night in Warsaw.
