Synopsis
Isabella Rossellini gets intimate with the strange mating rituals of limpets. A sexless young limpet affixes itself to a rock—only when other limpets join it will its sex be determined.

Spending your life stuck to a rock could seem like a tragic fate—were it not for all the sex. Rossellini’s portrayal of the titular snail and its astounding reproductive process is hilarious. But she is also totally sincere when describing the phenomenon, never denying its unsettling oddity.
