Synopsis
Acting on a tip-off, ex-convicts Perry Smith and Dick Hickock break into a rural Kansas home. Unable to find the rumored wall safe, they brutally murder the Clutter family and flee. As local law enforcement agencies deepen their investigations, the fugitives are made to reckon with their actions.
