La Main sur la gueule
Synopsis
Accompanied by Liliane, Bruno visits his father, Jean-Louis, who lives alone in the countryside. The three share meals on the terrace, smoke and drink together. But, back in the house where he lived as a teenager, Bruno cannot help but tease and provoke, testing two already volatile relationships.
Editorial
Tension is pulled tight as a guitar string—and twanged—in this richly ambiguous film from _ Anatomy of a Fall_ cowriter Arthur Harari. Anticipating his sense of the power of houses to prick characters into venting their resentments, this tightly framed domestic drama jangles with callow antagonism.
