Synopsis
Filmmaker René Allio narrates the story of his family—Italian immigrants who came to work on Marseille’s construction sites. Against the backdrop of scenes from neighborhoods such as the Le Panier and La Belle de Mai, his voiceover recounts childhood memories and personal anecdotes from his city.
