Liberal Arts
2012
Synopsis
Bookish and newly single Jesse Fisher returns to his alma mater for his favorite professor’s retirement dinner. A chance meeting with Zibby – a precocious classical music-loving sophomore – awakens in him long-dormant feelings of possibility and connection.
Editorial
The second feature from writer-director-star Josh Radnor, this campus comedy is a charming graduate from the Woody Allen school of neurotically high-minded romcoms. With an alluring performance from Elizabeth Olsen, Liberal Arts is a seductive ode to scholastic nostalgia and May-to-December romance.
