Synopsis
Several young Iranian girls, barred from attending soccer matches under the laws of the Islamic Republic, attempt to sneak into Tehran’s Azadi Stadium by dressing up as boys. After being arrested, they have to listen to every roar of the crowd inside the stadium without being able to see the action.

Winner of the Silver Bear at the Berlin Film Festival, Jafar Panahi’s feminist film takes an original angle to denounce the place of women in Iranian society: football fandom. Cheekily sneering at the police and cheering loudly, its female protagonists, full of vigour, are completely captivating.
