Synopsis
New Jersey. Under the sway of mob boss Johnny Friendly, who controls the labor union, Terry Malloy gets mixed up in the murder of dockworker Joey Doyle. When Terry falls for Joey’s sister Edie—who, along with Father Barry, rallies the workers to fight against corruption—Terry’s loyalties are tested.
