Our Hospitality
Synopsis
After twenty years away Willie McKay returns to his Appalachian homestead to take possession of his family home. On the trip, he falls for a young woman. The only problem is her family has vowed to kill every member of his family due to an ongoing feud that led to him being sent away as a baby.
Editorial
In Buster Keaton’s dashing period romance, swelling courtship tumbles into precipice-hanging acrobatics, including a literally death-defying sequence which saw the comic nearly drown on camera. Colliding luscious design with antic spectacle, Our Hospitality is Keaton at his most gorgeously bravura.
