Synopsis
Maki is now a relentlessly strict teacher at an elementary school and trains in self-defense techniques in her off-time to combat her overall sense of helplessness. When an attacker arrives at her school, Maki jumps into action to confront him, triggering a chain of unforeseen repercussions.

The specter of male violence hangs heavy over this second episode, which zeroes in on another of the young witnesses to the terrible inciting incident. For Maki, fifteen years of guilt and shame have curdled into repressed rage, which soon explodes in a morally questionable bid for redemption.
