Synopsis
When Melissa is brought in to photograph the harrowing details of life in the Child Protection Unit of the Paris police, she is an outsider amongst a close-knit family of cops. Brought together by their emotionally devastating work, officers squabble and play jokes over communal lunches.

Frequently compared to the TV series The Wire for its multi-layered narrative, this crime hit from French actress Maïwenn (who directs, writes, and stars in the film!) confirmed her as a major talent to follow. Social realist cinema has rarely been as healthy and exciting as in recent times.
