Synopsis
Dissolute Hollywood star Johnny Marco spends his days in the luxurious Chateau Marmont Hotel in Los Angeles. When his ex-wife dumps their 11-year-old daughter Cleo outside, the movie star has to modify his hedonistic lifestyle, and slowly starts to become aware of the emptiness of his life.

Sofia Coppola won the Golden Lion in Venice for this intimate father-daughter family drama, inspired in part by her own childhood. Both the adult and the kid come of age in this revealing work, permeated with touching melancholy, and including delicate performances by Elle Fanning and Stephen Dorff.
