Synopsis
Bulgaria, 1943. Wehrmacht sergeant Walter oversees Bulgarian workers in a small-town repair shop while nearby Greek Jews await deportation to Auschwitz. Through the camp’s barbed wire, he meets Ruth, a young Jewish woman, and their conversations awaken unexpected feelings and fragile hopes.
