Synopsis
As a heat wave brings a Marseille neighbourhood to the boil, three roommates gleefully meddle in the lives of their neighbours from their balcony. Until a late night drink turns into a bloody affair.

Cowritten with Céline Sciamma, Noémie Merlant’s maximalist celebration of sisterhood skewers phallocentrism with Almodóvar-esque style. Girl-powered by kittenish camerawork and screams of laughter, this horror-comedy plays like a feminist reimagining of Rear Window for the age of the house share.
