Synopsis

David is the perfect guest. Friendly and helpful, he arrives at the front door of the Peterson family claiming to be a friend of their son who died in battle in Afghanistan. The family welcomes David into their home, but when people mysteriously begin to die in the city, they start to suspect him.

Editorial

Adam Wingard pays homage to horror master John Carpenter with this entertaining slasher-thriller set in the lead-up to Halloween. Packed with style and synth sounds and led by a killer performance from Dan Stevens, this dangerous, neon-drenched retro throwback remains effortlessly cool.
