Synopsis
In 1950s Tokyo, college student Akiko unexpectedly becomes pregnant, while her older sister Takako, recently separated, returns to their family home. As they uncover the existence of their long-lost mother, Akiko struggles to accept the painful truth of being abandoned as a child.
