Synopsis
In post-WWII Poland, Wiktor and Zula fall obsessively and destructively in love. As musicians forced to play into the Soviet propaganda machine, they dream of escaping to the freedom of the West. When a chance to leave for Paris arises, both make a split decision that will mark their lives forever.
